Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dalam Perspektif Al-Qur'an dan Hadis: Konsep Tanggung Jawab Sosial dalam Pendidikan Islam

Abstract


Civic Education is an essential instrument in shaping character and awareness of national identity and citizenship. From the Islamic perspective, civic values are not only derived from state norms but also rooted in the teachings of the Qur'an and Hadith, which emphasize social responsibility, justice, and active participation in community life. This study aims to explore the concept of social responsibility in civic education based on Islamic values, by examining relevant verses of the Qur’an and sayings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The method used is a literature review with a descriptive qualitative approach. The findings indicate that the Qur’an and Hadith promote principles such as enjoining good and forbidding evil (amar ma’ruf nahi munkar), brotherhood (ukhuwah), justice, and mutual assistance as the foundation of social responsibility that should be instilled in Islamic education. This concept aligns with the goals of civic education in shaping responsible, active individuals who care about collective welfare. Therefore, integrating Islamic values into civic education is essential to build a civil society with strong moral character.
