Implementation of a Religious Guidance Program to Grow Social Awareness in Society

Abstract


Religious guidance programs have an important role in forming people's social awareness, especially in the context of character building and improving relationships between individuals in the community. This research aims to analyze the implementation of religious guidance programs in fostering social awareness in society. Using a qualitative approach, this research examines various methods and strategies implemented in religious guidance programs in several communities. The research results show that religious guidance programs that involve personal and collective approaches, such as religious lectures, group discussions, and social activities based on religious values, can increase feelings of concern for others, strengthen social solidarity, and improve people's social attitudes. In addition, collaboration between religious institutions, government and society is very important for the success of this program. It is hoped that, with continuity and consistency, the religious guidance program can become an effective means of forming a society that is more caring, tolerant and supportive of each other in social life
