Strategi Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam Menanamkan Akhlak Mulia Siswa Sekolah Dasar Negeri Pulau Sugara Barito Kuala

Abstract


This study aims to analyze the strategies employed by Islamic Religious Education teachers in instilling noble character among students at Pulau Sugara State Elementary School, Barito Kuala, and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors influencing their implementation. This research employed a qualitative approach using a field research design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis involved data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the teachers' strategies for cultivating noble character include serving as role models, implementing school regulations, administering educationally oriented disciplinary measures, providing appreciation and rewards, habituating students to religious activities, and offering advice and guidance. Supporting factors include strong school support, a religious school environment, collaboration among teachers, and regular religious programs. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors consist of negative peer influences, uncontrolled use of social media, and limited instructional time. The study concludes that the successful cultivation of noble character requires strong synergy among teachers, schools, families, and the surrounding community to create a supportive environment for students' moral development
