Abstract

Learning motivation is a crucial factor in determining the success of the learning process, particularly in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects. Efforts to enhance students' motivation can be achieved through the application of appropriate learning methods, one of which is active learning. This study aims to analyze the influence of active learning on students' motivation in PAI by using a qualitative approach through literature review. Data were collected from various relevant sources such as scientific journals, books, and research reports. Content analysis was employed to identify patterns of relationship between active learning and learning motivation. The results of the review indicate that active learning positively contributes to increasing students' motivation by enhancing participation, interest, and emotional engagement in the learning process. These findings highlight the importance of implementing active learning strategies in religious education to create more meaningful learning experiences.
