Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) plays an important role in character development. However, PAI often focuses on cognitive aspects without considering the development of social skills that support character formation. This study aims to develop a social skills-based PAI learning model to enhance students' character. The research method used is research and development (R&D) with a quantitative approach. The results show that the social skills-based PAI learning model can improve students' social skills, which contribute to strengthening students' character, especially in aspects of tolerance, empathy, and teamwork
