Evaluasi Program Pemberdayaan Masyarakat melalui Pendidikan Agama Islam untuk Meningkatkan Kualitas Hidup Masyarakat.
Abstract
The community empowerment program based on Islamic religious education plays a crucial role in improving the quality of life in spiritual, moral, and socio-economic aspects. This article aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the program through literature review and document analysis to identify its impact and challenges in implementation. This research employs a library research method by collecting and analyzing secondary data from scholarly journals, program reports, books, policy documents, and relevant articles related to community empowerment through Islamic religious education. The analysis is conducted qualitatively using a thematic approach to identify patterns, contributions, and gaps in program implementation. The evaluation results indicate that the internalization of Islamic values such as justice, honesty, and social responsibility within empowerment programs can enhance the quality of life. This is reflected in the improvement of religious literacy, the strengthening of social cohesion, and the promotion of Sharia-based economic empowerment. However, several challenges hinder implementation, including participants' limited religious literacy, the lack of contextually relevant curriculum adaptation, and minimal collaboration between institutions. This study concludes that empowerment programs based on Islamic religious education need to be designed more adaptively, incorporating technology and strengthening stakeholder collaboration to maximize their impact. The implications of this research recommend the development of a sustainable evaluation model based on multidimensional quality-of-life indicators and the utilization of digital resources to optimize program effectiveness.
