Peran Pendidikan Agama Islam Terhadap Kesadaran Beragama Anak

Abstract


Islamic religious education plays a crucial role in shaping children's religious awareness. This article aims to examine how and to what extent Islamic religious education contributes to enhancing children's understanding and practice of religious values. The study adopts a qualitative approach using a literature review method, analyzing various relevant sources on the importance of Islamic religious education for children's spiritual development. The findings reveal that religious education not only provides theoretical knowledge but also shapes children's character and morals. Therefore, effective teaching in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) can enhance religious awareness and help children face the challenges of modern life. In conclusion, the role of Islamic religious education is vital in increasing children's religious awareness, and thus collaboration between parents, educators, and the community is essential to provide quality and meaningful education
