Implementasi Filsafat Pendidikan Islam dalam Pembelajaran Agama Islam di Sekolah-sekolah Islam Modern

Abstract


Philosophy of Education is defined as a process that helps students become better so that they can achieve their best potential. The purpose of this study is to find out how the role of Philosophy of Education is towards Islamic Education in modern schools. This study uses Library Research by critically and in-depth review of library materials that are relevant to the paper material such as books and journals that are worthy of being used as references. One of the philosophical schools of education that contributes to Islamic education is existentialism. Existentialism is a school of thought that places humans at the center of all human relations. Existentialism is rooted in efforts to rise from all hegemony to find existence and essence of self. To find this existence of self, humans must be aware because there are no other creatures that exist other than humans.
